‘Lucky Koi’ Kimono Robe

  • S/M
  • L/XL

Because of their strength and determination to overcome obstacles, the image of koi fish has stood for courage and the ability to attain high goals, and in some cultures they mean good fortune and luck. When I started creating my composition, I decided to group them in eight... not only because is it my lucky number, but its regarded in Chinese culture as a very prosperous number as well. This original is a 48”x48” acrylic on canvas.

So many options! This artistically elegant kimono robe can be worn so many ways. As the “pop of fun” over a dressy outfit, as a beach cover up or even as sexy house coat lounging on a lazy Sunday. Wear with or without the matching chiffon belt. Made with bamboo fabric trim. The lightweight woven chiffon fabric allows the printed image to show through on both sides. And that vibrant print will never fade from wear or washing! The hems are finished with a rolled edge.

  • 100% polyester chiffon fabric printed and sewn by hand in Canada.
  • Hand wash in cold water and hang to (quick) dry. Do not bleach.
  • Odour resistant and non pilling.
  • Please note, colours may vary from screen to screen.
