I created this piece during lockdown. I know I’m privileged that the inability to travel was one of the only things that affected me during the pandemic. I originally had the title “HOLIDAY” painted as the masthead of this fictitious magazine cover. But as the pandemic went on, I decided to change it to reflect the surreal situation we all experienced. This piece can be something to remind all travellers what a blessing it is to be able to do what we love to do.
This is an acrylic painting on canvas.
